Many studies have shown that in patients with dementias, it can improve memory, concentration and cognition. A major plus of this drug is that it also improves mood and alertness. All studies have shown that it works best in individuals with early or mild cognitive impairment. Once the dementia is severe, Pramiracetam can not alter the cognition or memory loss.
